The soon-to-open largest dairy farm complex in Europe has already been noticed by the international agribusiness community.
At the traditional “AgriNext Awards Dubai 2025” event in Dubai, “Ateities Ūkis” (“Future Farm”), owned by the “Agrokoncernas Group”, received the recognition for excellence in integrated agribusiness solutions.
This award is presented to companies that demonstrate outstanding achievements and innovations in the agricultural sector.
Candidates were evaluated by an international panel of experts based on key criteria: technological advancement, exceptional business model, sustainability solutions, and impact on the development of the agricultural sector.

According to “Agrokoncernas Group” owner Ramūnas Karbauskis, this recognition confirms the scale and significance of the project not only in Lithuania, but also globally.
“When developing “Ateities Ūkis”, we focused not on what matters today, but on what will create long-term value in five or even ten years. The uniqueness of our farm lies in its commitment to science, animal welfare, milk quality, and sustainability. This award is a recognition of the entire team’s work. We are proud that the world sees and values our contribution to the development of the agribusiness sector,” says R. Karbauskis.
International recognition in Dubai marks an important step that will help strengthen partnerships with innovative companies from around the world.
“Ateities Ūkis” aims to become not only one of the strongest dairy producers in Europe, but also a center for dairy science and innovation.
The “Agrokoncernas Group” has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU). The partnership aims to create a unique, fully integrated dairy production model in Europe – from feed to the final product.
University researchers will contribute to studies that will help improve herd productivity, reduce environmental impact, develop recommendations for farmers, and implement data-driven solutions.
The “Agrokoncerno Group” is also strengthening the competitiveness of the dairy sector by supplying high-quality feed, crop protection products, tools, and agricultural machinery to farms.
The first heifers will arrive at “Ateities Ūkis” at the end of November, and milk production is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2026.
The dairy complex will house approximately 10,000 cattle, including around 4,000 milking cows.
More than €80 million has been invested in the “Ateities Ūkis” project.
