When Russia attacked Ukraine, the Agrokoncerno Group was one of the first in Lithuania to react to the aggression by announcing that it was severing all ties with Russia and Belarus.
The Group’s companies “Agrokoncernas”, “Agrokoncernas grūdai”, “Agrokoncernas technika”, “Agrokoncernas GDP” and others continue to promise not to work with aggressor countries.
The first shipment of fertilisers from the West from “Agrokoncernas” arrives at the Port of Klaipėda and will be unloaded shortly. According to Edgaras Šakis, the head of the company, quality produce will reach Lithuanian farmers on time.
“We believe that Lithuanian farmers will welcome the new products and support our decision. We will continue to forge links and strengthen partnerships with Western countries to find the best solutions for a successful harvest”, says E. Šakys.
