A new name has appeared on the map of the dairy industry. In Bebrujai village, Radviliškis district, the Agrokoncernas Group has opened the largest and most modern dairy cattle complex in Europe. It is planned that the farm will house around 10,000 cattle, including a milking herd of approximately 4,500 cows.

The Agrokoncernas Group received an award in the category of large agricultural companies. The recognition was granted for sustainable agricultural practices—including the application of no-till technologies, the expansion of biomethane power plants, the active increase of renewable energy use within the company’s operations, and the implementation of precision technologies.

Over the past few years, the topic of carbon credits has shifted from a niche subject to one of the most discussed issues in the agricultural sector. Farmers are increasingly looking for ways for sustainable practices to deliver not only moral value, but also additional income that could help stabilize farm finances during unpredictable seasons.
