
Representatives of the members of the Kaunas Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts, personnel specialists from various companies visited the “Agrokoncerno” group.
Director of Administration and Personnel Rasa Šakauskienė says that the purpose of this meeting was to share experience, insights into the challenges of staff management and to acquaint the guests with the activities of one of the country’s largest groups of agribusiness companies.
The personnel manager presented the group’s activities, the latest projects and told about the challenges posed by the dynamic environment for the staff team.
“Agrobusiness today is not just about technology or land. It’s about people, knowledge and the ability to change. We are proud to create an environment where innovation goes hand in hand with respect for people, and personnel management becomes a strategic business axis,” says R. Šakauskienė.

She presented to the guests the projects developed by the “Agrokoncerno” group, such as the construction of one of the largest and most modern cow farm complexes in Europe in Radviliškis district and the development of “Ateities ūkis”.
She also talked about initiatives and business partnerships with scientific and educational institutions, talent attraction.
Head of Personnel Projects manager Greta Simanavičienė presented a project of national importance – a deep grain processing plant in Kuršėnai. This one of the most advanced factories in Europe will operate on the principles of sustainable business, it is planned that more than 100 engineers will start working there from 2028.
Product manager Žydrūnas Motiekaitis talked about smart technologies in farming and the value they create. The guests were interested in what competencies specialists are able to work with these innovations and how the role of the farmer is changing.
The synergy of science and technology was revealed by the head of the „AgroITC“ Innovation and Research Center, Dr. Eglė Petraitiene. Together with Jurgita Klimaitiene, she presented the research conducted in the laboratory.
