Mindaugas Lapatkinas, Director of Agrokoncerno Technika, returned from the 25th anniversary celebrations of the agricultural machinery manufacturer BEDNAR in the Czech Republic with two awards.
In total, official factory representatives from around the world were nominated in eight categories. “Agrokoncerno Technika received the award for the best marketing of BEDNAR equipment, as well as the best sales of the SWIFTERDISC XE PROFI smart cultivator.
According to company director M. Lapatkinas said that this is a very important recognition not only for the company, but also for the country’s agriculture as a whole. Manufacturers of agricultural machinery rate Lithuanian farmers as among the most innovative and receptive to innovation.
“The intelligent, computer-controlled disc cultivator is an exclusive BEDNAR product. We have sold the most of these machines of any official dealer in the world. But this is not only a result of our efforts, but also of the receptiveness of Lithuanian farmers to innovation, technology and innovation. In the international market, our agricultural sector is not only valued for its deep traditions, but also for keeping pace with the latest technologies,” says M. Lapatkinas.
In addition to the awards ceremony, BEDNAR organised a spectacular field day to mark the anniversary. It showcased its machinery and new products that are yet to be launched on the market.
One of them is the MATADOR drill. The first machines are already in operation and being tested in Denmark. They are expected to reach Lithuania in spring. “This will be the first belt drill in Lithuania with a working width of 6 metres Bednar. It has the advantage of loosening the layer of soil into which the seeds are immediately sown. This means that there is no need for special land preparation or loosening before sowing. This saves not only time, but also resources, such as fuel, as soil preparation and sowing are carried out at the same time,” explains the Director of Agrokoncerno technikos.
On a field day with the team, M. Lapatkin noted that machinery manufacturers are focusing on agricultural optimisation and cost-saving solutions.
“Bednar is the manufacturer of some of the world’s largest agricultural implements, up to 18.4 metres wide. The bigger the implement, the more it increases productivity and reduces costs. For example, the largest machines can cultivate up to 230 hectares in one working day. These are huge areas”, he says.
According to the head of “Agrokoncerno technikos”, Lithuanian farmers appreciate the quality of BEDNAR equipment and the opportunities it offers to work more efficiently. To thank our customers for their loyalty and trust, the company has announced a special promotion-lottery “You buy from Agrokoncerno – you win BEDNAR equipment!” Farmers who purchase products or services worth €50,000 or more from Agrokoncernas Technika or Agrokoncernas during this summer, from 1 June to 30 September, are entered into a raffle for the grand prize of a 7.5 metre BEDNAR Striegel PRO stubble harrow. The prize is worth more than €27,000.
