9.5 tonnes of winter wheat per hectare – this is now the official yield record to be included in the Lithuanian Book of Records. The record was achieved in the fields of the agricultural company 'Žvirbloniai', part of 'Agrokoncernas 'Group, located in the Pakruojis district.

Agrokoncernas Group is the first representative of Lithuania’s agricultural sector to present a sustainability report prepared in accordance with the latest European Union requirements.

"Agrokoncerno" group of companies plans to build a modern deep grain processing plant in Kuršėnai, on the former territory of the Pavenčiai sugar factory. It would process about 500,000 tons of wheat, about 250 employees are planned to be employed.

„Agrokoncerno“ įmonių grupė Kuršėnuose, buvusioje Pavenčių cukraus fabriko teritorijoje, planuoja statyti modernią giluminio grūdų perdirbimo gamyklą. Kasmet joje būtų perdirbama apie 500 tūkst. tonų kviečių, įdarbinti planuojama apie 250 darbuotojų.
